Our Kiwanis Mission

Supporting the youth of our community one child and one family at a time.

Welcome to St. Anthony Kiwanis

The St. Anthony Kiwanis Club began on February 20, 1962.  Our club was sponsored by the Kiwanis Clubs of Northeast Minneapolis and Columbia Heights.  To them we extend our profound thanks for bringing us into the Kiwanis fold.

The St. Anthony Kiwanis Club is known for generous contributions to many local organizations/projects such as Northeast Food Shelf, St. Anthony Seniors, Village Fest, school supplies for needy children, the St. Anthony Library, youth groups in area churches, and scholarships for seniors graduating from St. Anthony Village High School, to name a few.  Supporting the community and our children has given our club a reason to work hard to help others.

Our club now sponsors four Service Leadership Groups.  They are a Kiwanis K-Kids Club at Wilshire Park Elementary School, a Kiwanis Builder’s Club at the St. Anthony Middle School, a Kiwanis Key Club at the St. Anthony High School, and a Kiwanis Aktion Club for youth and adults with disabilities.  Unfortunately, due to lasting effects of COVID and volunteers not allowed in school buildings at the current time, the K-Kids and Builders Clubs are taking an additional year off with hopes to resume in the fall of 2022.  COVID has also suspended the programming with our Aktion Club.  We hope to restart this again in the near future.
